The job market is going to transform, and many jobs will change. There will be jobs that people won't do anymore, and there will be new jobs. There will be enormous generation of wealth, and abundance.
But our vision about the future is not about building a better AI product.
It's to use AI to build ourselves into better versions of ourselves.
We just built our own AI coach - named Gordy.
Here's why:
The numbers around AI are staggering. By 2030, companies worldwide are expected to pour nearly $7 trillion into data centers alone. AI is expected to transform the economy.
There are multiple visions of the future and each AI company is driven by different things.
But, I don't want in a future where AI runs the economy and humans become passive consumers of it.
That's why we built Gordy.
Building "Super-Humans"
Gordy is our internal AI coach, named after my grandfather. And yes, we could have just used a ChatGPT account. But a generic AI doesn't know our goals, our culture, and our reason, or what we're actually building. It's also passive, and its disconnected.
When AI is connected to our company systems, to our own curriculum and philosophy, and to each other - it stops being a productivity tool and starts being a massive multiplier.
We now have 3 AI agents. Those that perform tasks and are proactive. Gordy, Mimia, and Atlas.
Mimia is our student focused AI that helps with support questions and follows up to ensure smooth application. Atlas is our AI that supports tasks and updates our platform.
Gordy is our AI coach with its goal to improve each of us. We use the ideas in the Superhuman curriculum. What we think makes a person effective and capable in the AI age - particularly around alignment with purpose, the use of leverage, continual upgrading with AI, and coaches, and using work as a measure and way to improve.
I believe we must improve our education and ourselves faster than we are improving technology, and that's why we exist. To use AI to improve our education system and improve students at the same rate or faster than AI is imporinvg.
The real competitive advantage over the next decade won't just come from using AI tools to do stuff, it will come by using AI to upgrade and improve ourselves, and to improve ourselves at the same rate or faster than AI is upgrading.
Because the output from studying, is not about the certificate, the output from doing work, is not just about the result, but it's who we become in the process.
Everyday, we shape our future selves into the person we want to come with the choices we make.
