University College Dublin (UCD) is a world-renowned university located in Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 1854, it is one of the oldest and largest universities in the country, with a current student population of over 34,000. If you’re interested in Agricultural Science but are not yet certain of which area to specialise in, you can select the No Preference (UAS1) option on the online application portal. Then, during your first year at UCD, you can choose your area of specialisation. If you receive an offer on the Agricultural Science programme, you’ll be guaranteed a place in any of the eleven specialisations from second year. If, on the other hand, you know which of the following areas you’d like to specialise in, you can select one of these areas on the application form.
