The program is inspired by the social doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church and is offered in response to the growing economic and social concerns of poverty in the Philippine society. It is considered to be a unique and innovative kind of entrepreneurship program since it seeks to integrate entrepreneurship with social consciousness and ethics education, with the inclusion of the component Social Entrepreneurship. Through its combination of classroom training and experiential learning, the program will help aspiring entrepreneurs acquire the skills, values, and attitudes that will increase their chances of success. The program culminates with a capstone project where students prepare a business plan and implement the business for one year.
