The Cultural Media major offers interdependent educational programs in the areas of 1) Content Writing, 2) Content Planning, and 3) Cultural Knowledge. These programs are based on digital literacy education which is essential in the fourth industrial revolution era. Content Writing program focuses on image-based communication that associates visual storytelling, photography, video, graphic, sound, and audio. Content Planning program enables the students to understand and investigate digital trends when content planning, directing, and cultural marketing. Content Knowledge program concentrates on students to have integrated knowledge of digital mindset which is essential in the digital era so that the student can have operation knowledge of necessary software and hardware and utilization knowledge of digital media tools and one-person media technology. All Cultural Media major students are provided with software and hardware that are needed in classes and projects including Adobe Creative Cloud software, drones, action cameras, one-person media equipment, etc. Content Writing area of Cultural Media major is specifically designed to train professionals in various digital content platforms by cultivating creative thinking and cultural expression ability based on the digital literacy curriculum. Content Planning area aims at training professionals who are capable of planning and designing new digital experience contents in the fourth industrial revolution era. Cultural Knowledge area specializes in liberal arts courses in order to understand and utilize technology, and integrated knowledge in humanities and social science, which is the basis for content planning.
