Webster University, a pioneer in audio engineering education, offers the distinctive Bachelor of Science in Sound Recording and Engineering degree. The program is designed for students who are interested in the fields of music recording, live sound engineering, sound system engineering and/or audio technology. Individuals will learn about audio and sound engineering as it relates to all media through a hands-on approach, utilizing Webster's professional-grade equipment and industry-leading educators. Students in the Sound Recording and Engineering program learn audio engineering history and theory, produce music recordings/radio spots, mix audio for video and film and master sound design. Webster University is an educational member of the Audio Engineering Society. Webster's student section of the Audio Engineering Society is one of the most active and successful chapters worldwide.
