The International Relations and Global Affairs (IRGA) major a well-established and popular degree offered by the Social Science Division. IRGA emphasizes the application of course content, knowledge and social awareness TO ELEVATE INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY, TO ACT ON GLOBAL ISSUES, and TO PREPARE STUDENTS TO THINK AND ACT for the betterment of their community. The IRGA curriculum was designed to increase the students’ level of understanding, ability, apply innovative ideas and approaches to problem solving and excel at leadership in a multicultural setting. Many of our graduates have gone on to work at UN organizations, NGOs, and government ministries. Other graduates have decided to pursue masters and doctoral degrees in Europe and North America. Our main focus is to ensure that IRGA graduates have the skills and knowledge essential for success in the 21st century.
