Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) is a liberal arts and sciences college located in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China. Established in 2005, UIC is a joint venture between Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University. Human Resource Management is one of the key determinants of business success. Organizations rely on their human resources to deliver what the management intends to achieve. By properly managing human resources, organizations will be able to influence the attitude, behavior, and, in turn, the performance of their people.

The human resource management functions within organizations typically involve a range of activities such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, and developing and maintaining employee relations. One of the major roles of human resource managers is to ensure that the aforementioned human resource management activities are planned and implemented in ways that can help the organizations to achieve their goals.

The BBA (Honours) in Management of Human Resources aims to provide students with a broad-based knowledge that allows our graduates to join the field of human resources management upon graduation. In addition to program-specific courses that will enable students to develop themselves into human resource specialists, systematic business core courses and whole-person education courses are designed to cultivate students’ business knowledge and growth mindset essential for their future careers. Moreover, the English-teaching environment enables our graduates to develop effective bilingual communication skills, which will enhance their competitiveness in the job market.

Over the past years, some of our graduates have been able to secure highly sought-after positions in different types of organizations, including specialist positions in consulting firms and large organizations while others have chosen to further their education in reputable institutions worldwide. Another characteristic of our program is that we provide individualized attention to our students’ development; and, as such our graduates have been very satisfied with their educational experience in our program.

Situated in Zhuhai, Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) is the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong. UIC is located in the beautiful coastal city of Zhuhai in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. International Higher Education

With English as the medium of instruction, UIC's education is of international standards with high-caliber academic performance. The college has established the Divisions of Business and Management, Culture and Creativity, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Technology, in addition to the Graduate School. Altogether UIC offers 28 undergraduate programmes, and is approved to offer nine research and five taught postgraduate programmes for over 7,000 students. Undergraduates receive HKBU Bachelor's Degrees and UIC Graduation Certificates, and postgraduates earn HKBU degrees.
