Barbering (Level 1)

The Barbering (Level 1) program at Bedford College is a non-degree course for students who want to start a career in barbering. It takes one year to complete and is taught in English. This program provides a foundation in barbering skills and helps students build their confidence.

The curriculum covers the basics of barbering, including cutting, trimming, and grooming techniques. Students learn about different hair types and how to use various tools and equipment. They also develop skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and customer interaction.

Graduates can work as Junior Barbers, Salon Assistants, or Grooming Assistants in the beauty industry. They can find jobs in barbershops, salons, or spas, and may also work in hotels, resorts, or cruise ships. Some graduates may also work as Freelance Barbers or start their own businesses.
