Beauty Therapist Level 2 Apprenticeship

The Beauty Therapist Level 2 Apprenticeship is a non-degree program at Barnsley College for students who are new to beauty therapy. It takes one year to complete and is taught in English. This program introduces students to the basics of beauty treatments and helps them develop fundamental skills.

The curriculum covers subjects like nail care, facial treatments, and hair styling. Students will also learn about health and safety, and how to work with different types of clients. This program includes hands-on training, where students will practice their skills in a real salon environment.

After completing this program, students can work as Junior Beauty Therapists, Nail Technicians, or Makeup Artists. They can find jobs in beauty salons, spas, or hotels. Some students may also choose to continue their education and pursue a higher-level apprenticeship in beauty therapy.
