Brickwork Intermediate (Level 2)

The Brickwork Intermediate program at Bedford College is a Non-degree course that builds on basic brickwork skills. It is one year long and taught in English. This program helps students improve their brickwork techniques and learn more complex skills.

The curriculum covers advanced brickwork topics, such as arches, corners, and decorative features. Students develop skills like precision measuring, cutting, and fitting bricks. They also learn about different types of bricks and mortars.

After completing this program, students can work as Senior Bricklayers, Site Managers, or Self-employed Contractors. They can find jobs in construction companies, architectural firms, or with employers like Barratt Homes or Taylor Wimpey. Some students may also move into supervisory roles or start their own construction businesses.
