Certificate In Public Health (Online)

The Graduate Certificate in Public Health is designed to enable students to acquire the core knowledge that applies to the fundamental principles and practice of public health. This competency-based program consists of 15 credit hours of core graduate-level public health courses presented using online (Canvas) technology. Our online classes are both synchronous and asynchronous. Synchronous sessions are those in which all students and the instructor are online at the same time. These usually include lectures, presentations, discussions, and sometimes group work. Students and instructors use audio during each session. There is a weekly schedule when students all meet together with the instructor. Attendance is counted just as if students were attending class on campus. Please note that for each online class you are required to participate fully in the synchronous sessions according to your class syllabus.
