Criminal Psychology and Behaviour

This part-time online certificate program explores why individuals become criminals, why individuals are attracted to those with deviant behaviours, and what methods are used in the rehabilitation of criminals and victims. The program is designed for individuals who have a special interest in criminal psychology and behaviour or who work within social services, law enforcement, or criminal justice settings where an understanding of criminal psychology and behaviour is an asset. Students will learn about a variety of topics including co-dependency as an addiction; domestic, sexual, and workplace violence; human trafficking; and cults and terrorism.
