About the Program

The Dual Plus Fachhochschulreife program is designed for motivated and high-achieving apprentices who wish to earn their Fachhochschulreife alongside their vocational training. Participants in the Dual Plus Fachhochschulreife program will enhance their skills acquired during secondary education and vocational training. The curriculum includes advanced education in language and communication (German), technical English, mathematics, natural sciences, and social sciences. Classes are typically held outside of working hours, once or twice a week, with a total of up to six hours of instruction. Independent study is also required to succeed.

Graduates of the Dual Plus Fachhochschulreife can pursue further education at a Berufsoberschule to obtain their general or subject-specific Hochschulreife, or they can enroll in a Fachhochschule.
