About the Program

Electrical and Electronics Engineering studies how electrical energy is generated, transmitted, and controlled, alongside the design of electronic circuits and devices found in everything from power grids to consumer electronics. The curriculum includes circuit theory, electromagnetics, power systems, control systems, and analog and digital electronics, building toward more specialized coursework in areas such as telecommunications or microelectronics. Students learn to design and analyze circuits, work with sensors and actuators, and understand the principles behind power generation and distribution at both large and small scales. Extensive laboratory work allows students to build and test circuits, program microcontrollers, and use measurement equipment, reinforcing the theory covered in lectures with hands-on practice. Mathematics coursework in calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra underpins the technical modeling used throughout the program, since much of electrical engineering relies on solving equations that describe circuit and system behavior.
