Frühneuzeitliche Ärztebriefe

Frühneuzeitliche Ärztebriefe is a non-degree program at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities, taught in English and lasting one year. It provides students with knowledge of early modern medical letters.

The curriculum covers the history of medicine, medical correspondence, and archival research, with students working directly with historical documents to develop their skills.

Graduates can work as medical historians, archival researchers, historical editors, academic writers, or museum curators, often employed by universities, research institutions, or cultural heritage organizations.
