Gastronomy and Culinary Arts combines practical cooking training with the study of food science, nutrition, culinary history, and hospitality management. Students typically take courses in kitchen techniques, food safety and hygiene, menu planning, baking and pastry, world cuisines, wine and beverage studies, food and beverage cost control, and restaurant management.
