Volunteer Program

Hutong School is a foreign-owned Chinese language school in China, with locations in Beijing and Shanghai, helping international students learn Chinese and experience Chinese culture.

Hutong School has 6 programs and specialises in Chinese language teaching, using a unique method that separates spoken Chinese and character recognition to help students learn faster.

Students can enjoy the school's facilities and activities, such as cultural events, internships, and Chinese cooking lessons, while living in shared apartments near the school in Beijing or Shanghai.

The Volunteer Program at Hutong School is a one-week non-degree program where students can give back to the community while learning about Chinese culture. It's taught in English and open to students from pre-high school level.

The program teaches students about social responsibility, cultural awareness, and community engagement through volunteer work. Students will develop skills like empathy, leadership, and time management while working on projects that help local communities.

After completing the program, students can pursue careers like Volunteer Coordinator, Community Outreach Worker, Fundraising Assistant, or Youth Program Assistant.
