Level 1

The Level 1 program at Barking and Dagenham College is a non-degree course that helps students build a strong foundation in their chosen subject. It's taught in English, lasts for one year, and is available to students with little to no prior education. The program is a great way for students to get started on their educational journey.

The curriculum covers basic subjects and helps students develop essential skills such as numeracy, literacy, and time management. Students will also have the chance to take part in hands-on activities and projects that help them learn by doing.

After completing the Level 1 program, students can pursue careers such as Administrative Assistants, Junior Customer Service Representatives, Library Assistants, Receptionists, or Sales Assistants. They can work in various sectors, including government, non-profit, and private businesses, with employers such as schools, charities, and retail companies.
