Links to Work

The Links to Work course is designed for students who have completed the Towards Independence and Work programme. This full-time course runs 4 to 5 days a week and focuses on preparing students for future employment. It helps build confidence and essential working skills, making it ideal for those seeking to transition into the workforce. Students will engage in practical activities that enhance their employability and independent living skills.

Throughout the course, students will practice interview techniques, participate in various work experiences, and develop their CVs. They will also continue to improve their Maths and English skills, which are crucial for employment. The program includes community-based projects that foster interpersonal skills and teamwork, ensuring students are well-prepared for real-world challenges.

Graduates of the Links to Work course can pursue various job roles, including support worker, retail assistant, and administrative assistant.
