The Master of Arts in Counseling program will help you develop the skills to become a licensed professional counselor or licensed marriage and family therapist. You will receive the mentoring and instruction to aid you in success. Throughout the program students are able to work collaboratively with faculty while developing counseling skills. The Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) track is designed for students who have an interest in working with individual clients in a variety of counseling and mental health settings and private practice. This track prepares graduates to apply for licensure as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Texas.
