📚 About the Program

The follow-up Master's degree program Nanomaterial Chemistry focuses on the graduate profiling towards practice as a university-educated expert able to handle the requirements of not only industrial but also research chemistry, specializing in the field of material and nanomaterial chemistry. For this reason, in addition to theoretical subjects of basic disciplines such as nanomaterials, heterogeneous systems or mechanical properties of materials, other subjects taught in the form of practical exercises are included in the study program, which will enable graduates to successfully apply in practice. These subjects related to the application of theoretical knowledge of chemistry in practice include spectroscopic methods and Advanced microscopic methods, advanced laboratory practice, Practice in Methods of Material Research or polymers. The content of the program is complemented by courses focused on the ability of professional communication in a foreign language (specialized subjects taught in English), which is today a basic requirement for successful employment of a university-educated expert not only in research but also in industrial practice within Europe and around the world. In addition to these important skills, graduates will be equipped with the necessary practical skills, especially in the field of instrumentation in chemical analysis thanks to a number of subjects focused on both the theoretic principles in practice and most commonly used exercises, where students practice practically this acquired theoretical knowledge.
