Supported Internship

The Supported Internship program at Berkshire College of Agriculture is for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans who want to transition into paid employment. This one-year program combines workplace experience with classroom learning, focusing on essential skills like Maths and customer service.

Students engage in unpaid work placements, gaining hands-on experience and developing life and work skills. They receive regular assessments and feedback from job coaches to help them meet their employment goals.

Graduates can become customer service representatives, administrative assistants, or retail associates. They can work in various industries, applying the skills they learned during the internship, and navigate their career paths with confidence.
