The WSET Level 1 Award in Wines program introduces basic product knowledge and skills in the service and retail of wine, wine styles, proper storing and serving of wine, and food and wine pairing. WSET Level 1 Award in Wines informs students on the main types and styles of wine, utilizing the senses of sight, smell, and taste. This knowledge will equip the students with basic skills on describing wines, as well as making food and wine pairings.
