Feeding Back as Quaker Elders

This course is designed for Quaker Elders and Spiritual Nurture Friends who seek to enhance their skills in providing feedback within their Meetings. It runs from June 24 to July 15, 2026, with live Zoom sessions every Wednesday evening. Participants will benefit from a supportive environment that encourages learning and reflection, making it ideal for those who thrive in collaborative settings.

Throughout the course, participants will engage in discussions, workshops, and speaker sessions focused on the challenges of giving feedback in Quaker contexts. This hands-on approach allows Elders to practice new techniques and share experiences, ultimately building their confidence and competence in addressing sensitive issues that arise during Meetings for Worship and other gatherings.

Graduates of this course can expect to take on more effective roles within their Quaker communities, potentially leading to positions such as Quaker Elder, Spiritual Nurture Friend, or Meeting Clerk. The skills developed here are transferable to various community and organizational settings, making participants valuable assets in any collaborative environment.
