Working with Babies and Young Children Under 2 Years

The Working with Babies and Young Children Under 2 Years program is a non-degree course at Bedford College for individuals working with young children. It lasts one year and helps students improve their professional skills and knowledge in childcare.

Students learn about safeguarding and welfare requirements, and work with babies and young children following statutory guidelines. They develop skills through written assignments, observations, and professional discussions.

Graduates can become Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Nurses, or Childcare Workers. They can also pursue further studies like Level 3 SEND in early years or Level 4 Advanced Practitioner in Early Years.
