University of Nicosia 'CyprusAid' Scholarship Scheme

Overview
The University of Nicosia, CyprusAid, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus jointly fund full scholarships for students from ten eligible African countries to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate study in Cyprus.
Eligibility
- Nationality from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Botswana, Mauritius, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, or Madagascar, proven by valid passport/ID
- Meet UNIC's admission and English-language requirements for the chosen programme
- Undergraduate: any English-taught, on-campus Bachelor's programme except Medicine
- Postgraduate: MBA, MA in International Relations and Eastern Mediterranean Studies, or MA in Digital Media and Communications only
Value
100% of tuition fees for the approved programme, plus accommodation, a monthly sponsorship allowance, medical examinations, visa or residence permit fees, insurance, and other personal or administrative expenses.
How to Apply
Interested applicants email int.admissions@unic.ac.cy with the subject line "'CyprusAid' scholarship scheme", along with required admission documents (passport, transcripts, English proficiency proof, CV for postgraduate applicants). Fall 2026 intake applications are due by 31 July 2026; Spring 2027 intake by 4 December 2026.
