Frequently asked questions

How much do your services cost?
Our core search and application platform is free to use. Application support comes in three tiers — Free, Priority, and Guaranteed — with Priority and Guaranteed adding hands-on review, faster turnaround, and additional university choices. 1-on-1 counseling and Top University Consulting are priced separately; contact us for current rates.
Which countries can I apply to through Global Admissions?
Global Admissions partners with universities across China, with a growing roster in other study destinations. You can browse the full list of partner schools and English-taught programs from our search page.
Do I need to take IELTS or TOEFL to apply?
It depends on the program and your nationality. Many English-taught programs require IELTS or TOEFL, but some accept native English speakers or applicants with prior English-medium education without a test. Our advisors will tell you exactly what each shortlisted program needs.
Can you help me find scholarships?
Yes. Our scholarship search lets you filter by country, degree level, and eligibility, and our advisors can flag awards that match your profile — including the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), Confucius Institute, and university-specific awards.
How long does the application process take?
Plan for three to six months from first inquiry to receiving your admission letter, then another four to eight weeks for the JW202 form and visa. Last-minute applications are possible in some cases — our Priority and Guaranteed services are designed for tight timelines.
What happens after I am admitted?
We help you collect your admission letter and JW202, prepare visa documents, book medical checks, and connect with current students at your university. Many partners also offer airport pickup and orientation support on arrival.
How do I get started?
Create a free account, complete your profile (academic background, finances, target programs), and either apply directly through the platform or book a 1-on-1 call with an advisor to walk through your options.
