A leader in Taiwan’s healthcare system for more than half a century, Taipei Medical University (TMU) has experienced growth in teaching, research, and service and it has gained recognition both at home and internationally. TMU has partnered with 200 institutions worldwide conducting research collaboration. SSome of the major institutions in the US include Yale University, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University. Case Western Reserve University and US National Institutes of Health among others. The collaborations are part of the efforts to advance research quality in TMU Campus TMU is located at a convenient location. It consists of 10 school buildings all of which have been equipped with instructional rooms and research facilities. Taipei Medical University Hospital is adjusted to the campus and is one of the three affiliated hospitals.Students are able to access the campus map online at any time. Another shuttle is available every half hour that operates to and from Liuzhangli MRT Station. TMU has nearby attractions including Taipei 101, Taipei City Hall, Taipei World Trade Center and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall among others. The campus has one dormitory and 3 others outside but are within walking distance and transportation is provided. All rooms are furnished and are located near convenience stores and traditional markets. Sports facilities available in the campus include an indoor pool, aerobics room, baseball field, tennis courts, basketball court and a gym.
