Students in this programme conduct hands-on laboratory work manipulating and analyzing genes and their protein products using real-time PCR instruments, fluorescence microscopes, and tissue culture equipment. They gain experience in techniques such as agarose electrophoresis, digital photography, and computer image analysis. The programme integrates classroom learning with practical training in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Students also participate in research projects and present findings at scientific meetings.
