This programme is designed for students who want to explore dance as a form of artistic and technical expression. You will study movement, choreography, and performance within a liberal arts context. The curriculum emphasizes collaboration, cultural awareness, and real-world application of dance. Students engage in technique training, improvisation, and creative process across Western and non-Western practices.

Focus areas include Dance Technique, Choreography, Dance Pedagogy, Somatic Practices, Dance and Social Justice, Dance Production.

The Bachelor of Arts in Dance requires a total of 120 credits. Students complete core dance courses, liberal arts education requirements, and electives based on personal interests. A formal review is required to transition into the Bachelor of Fine Arts track after two semesters.

Graduates enter careers as professional dancers, choreographers, dance educators, arts administrators, or pursue advanced study in interdisciplinary fields.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. No audition is required for the Bachelor of Arts track. Transfer students may apply for the Bachelor of Fine Arts track through a formal faculty review and audition.

The programme totals about 120 credit hours. On-campus, full-time, 4-year degree. For international students, tuition is above the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 69% of applicants.
