This programme focuses on applying geological and geophysical principles to engineering problems in subsurface environments. Students develop skills in rock and soil mechanics, groundwater systems, and site investigation through research and practical coursework. The curriculum emphasizes data analysis, modeling, and field methods relevant to mining, construction, and environmental projects. Research is conducted under faculty supervision with a thesis requirement for most degrees.
