About Master in Global Supply Chain and Operations Management

For Master in Global Supply Chain and Operations Management, applications close 15 May.

Global Supply Chain and Operations Management (G-SCOM) is a three-semester master's programme at HWR Berlin taught in English. It is designed for graduates who have completed a business-related first degree and want to develop advanced expertise in supply chain and operations management within an international student group. The curriculum covers a broad range of topics including global supply chain management, advanced operations management, international logistics, business analytics, supply chain simulation, lean management and Six Sigma, risk management, sustainability in global supply chains, and international project management. Courses are structured primarily as interactive seminars with small group sizes to facilitate close engagement between students and academic staff. The programme is divided into three stages. The first and second semesters cover foundational and specialist coursework, with the second semester building directly on the first. The third semester is dedicated to the master's thesis and its oral defence; students who undertake an internship in the third semester may defer the thesis to a fourth semester. A research methodology seminar supports thesis work. The programme is offered at HWR Berlin (Berlin School of Economics and Law) in Berlin, Germany.
