If you are currently acting as a safety representative in a workplace, or you aim to take on that role, this part-time online Certificate in Health and Safety Representation helps you develop the knowledge and skills required under Irish health and safety legislation. The course runs over 12 weeks and uses Moodle for lectures and resource materials; you attend one evening lecture of about two hours each week and should allow 5-6 hours of study per week. A distinctive feature is its direct alignment with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) Guidelines, and the module can be taken as a stand-alone 10-credit Minor Award at Level 6, providing a pathway to the Higher Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
