This programme is designed for undergraduate students seeking a liberal arts education with focused musical training. Students study music from historical, cultural, aesthetic, psychological, and applied perspectives. The curriculum supports skill development in performance, theory, and music analysis. The programme requires 120 credits, distributed across general education, music coursework, and performance requirements. Students in the performance emphasis complete additional training and performance opportunities.

Graduates enter roles such as private music teacher, church musician, composer, conductor, performer, or music studio manager.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A music audition is required for admission. Official transcripts and application materials are submitted through the university's admissions portal.

The programme totals about 120 credit hours. Face-to-face classes, full-time, four years. For international students, tuition is around the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 78% of applicants.

Immaculata's 300-acre campus provides space for study, recreation, service, and student activities. Advising, learning support, and career services help students choose programs, manage coursework, build professional networks, and prepare for employment or further study.

Grounded in IHM tradition and charism since 1920, Immaculata connects scholarship with formation of the whole person, service, justice, and dialogue between faith and culture. Its Mighty Macs women's basketball teams won the first three national women's college basketball championships, in 1972, 1973, and 1974. For international students, the university offers a private education with financial aid, scholarships, student employment opportunities, and payment plans.
