Students perform in ensembles such as concert band, jazz band, and chorus. They take private lessons on their chosen instrument or voice and complete courses in music theory, aural skills, and history. They gain practical experience through live performances at open mic events, recitals, and concerts. The program prepares students for professional music careers or further study.

Four semesters, 60 credits, full-time, no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates enter careers as composers, music teachers, performers, producers, or assistants in music and video programs.

English 12 with a minimum grade of 'C' or approved substitution. Practical audition required: Grade 10 RCMT or equivalent for keyboard, Grade 5 for guitar, Grade 6 for all other instruments and voice. Theory and aural skills assessments required. Intake interview with faculty member.

On-campus, full-time, four semesters.
