Practical Joinery Monday (Semester 2)

The Practical Joinery Monday program is a Non-degree course at Belfast Metropolitan College. It's for students who want to learn joinery skills. The program lasts a year and helps students develop practical skills.

The curriculum includes hands-on joinery work, where students learn to make and repair wood products. They develop skills in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood. Students also learn about safety procedures and tool use.

After completing this program, students can work as Joiners, Carpenter's Assistants, or Woodworkers. They can find jobs in construction companies, furniture makers, or repair shops. Some students may also start their own joinery businesses.
