The College of Staten Island CUNY combines academic study with professional and international opportunities. Its programs include data science, business analytics, international finance, biomedical science, communications and media studies, and clinical mental health counseling. The college's M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling includes a New York State Education Department-approved MHC-D diagnostic privilege designation. Students can also learn from faculty through initiatives connecting artificial intelligence and medicine, biomedical laboratory work, and the Maker Space. CSI's alumni community remains an active point of connection through profiles, professional recognition, and opportunities to keep in touch with former classmates. Its Willowbrook legacy is part of the college's continuing story. Located at 2800 Victory Boulevard on Staten Island, CSI offers a 204-acre campus within New York City. Campus life includes clubs, organizations, sports, cultural events, student services, and campus services. International students have access to the Center for Global Engagement, which organizes study-abroad opportunities, exchange programs for students and scholars, the English Language Institute, International Coffee Hour, and specialized professional initiatives. Recent activities have included a two-week program for students from the University of Calabria in data science, business analytics, international finance, and business in New York; a biomedical science initiative for students from Taiwan; a medical internship in Chile; and an innovation competition in South Korea. CSI has also welcomed an inaugural cohort of young engineers from Brazil for six weeks of study with CSI faculty.
