I came into school not really expecting that much, and was waiting for the university to impress me. You make choose how you spend your time here: participate on campus life, sign up for challenging classes, expand your world view, explore nature and make amazing life long friends. Those who feel uneasy about their time here definitely did not utilize all the school had to offer. I'm in dental school and most of my friends from here ended up in similarly prestigious institutions- while still having an absolute blast.

Had some of the best years of my life at Binghamton. Classes and professors are challenging regardless of your major, but it gives you a sense of fulfillment when you actually perform well. Assuming you're looking to work in NY after college, Binghamton also has a great brand amongst employers and a vast alumni network that can better your chances of employment

I transferred from another top SUNY and was blown away by this school. It is undeniably the best public school in the north east and is comparable to other top private schools such as NYU etc. Binghamton is getting better year by year and donations from alumni are flying in. I honestly recommend this school over any other public or private school especially because of its value. You'll get the best education here.

I went on a university tour all over the East Coast because I am from Virginia. After graduating high school in Arlington, I chose Binghamton U over all other schools because of the very low cost for the high quality of education, and because the university is absolutely gorgeous. For a D-1 University you cannot beat the price, reputation and ease of access. Parking was never a issue for me. I highly recommend the nature preserve as well.
