Walden University’s Minneapolis base is paired with an online learning model for students balancing education with work and other responsibilities. Course-based programs follow established schedules, weekly discussions, faculty guidance, and assignment deadlines. Tempo Learning is available in selected programs and allows students to set their own pace, complete assessments when ready, and receive support from a personal academic coach.

Academic options include bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, certificate, education specialist, and non-degree programs. Areas of study include business and management, communication, counseling, criminal justice, education, health and health sciences, information technology, nursing, psychology, public policy and administration, social work, and human services. Programs also address fields such as cybersecurity, data science, healthcare administration, public health, and instructional design.

International students can explore online degree options through Walden’s international form if they live outside the United States. Available programs include nursing, business administration, psychology, education, public health, social work, information technology, and other professional fields. Learning may include field work, interactive simulations, case studies, and practical assignments, depending on the program. New AI training certificates in social work, business, and education are offered through a partnership with Google Cloud at no extra cost for eligible students.
