As part of a radical vision for the city, schools of Art and Science were founded in Exeter in 1851. Challenging opposition and driven by ambition from the start, these humble beginnings were the first steps towards establishing the University of Exeter.

📖Program Curriculum

You must take the compulsory modules listed below These total 105 credits You must therefore choose an additional 15 credit option module either from within the Institute of Arabic and Islamic studies or from outside of the department under modularity as long as any necessary prerequisites have been satisfied where the timetable allows and if you have not already taken the module in question or an equivalent module

You must achieve a stage average of 50% including a mark of at least 50% in ARA1033B to be eligible to study abroad in stage 2 of the programme If you do not achieve a 50% stage average and at least 50% in ARA1033B you will be required to either repeat stage 1 of the programme or to transfer to a 3 programme of study that does not include study abroad

Stage 4 includes i a further period of study abroad during part of the Autumn Term spent in an accredited institution in the Arabic-speaking world and ii a short work placement in the Arabic-speaking world directly following the study abroad period Please note that these periods of study and work abroad are explicitly linked to the Advanced Arabic Language module

Entry Requirements

You are not eligible to apply to this program because:

The minimum age is 18.

English fluency is required.
You need to be either:
- A native English speaker
- Studied a degree in English before
- Can demonstrate a high level of English
- Having an English certificate such as IELTS level 6 or TOEFL 95 and above is an advantage.

Minimum education level: High School.

The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average A, 70%, or a high GPA.

Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
