📚About the Program

The Master of Science in Finance programme is designed to groom recent graduates to address the substantial changes in the regulatory and institutional environments faced by the financial sector. Their curriculum leverages self-directed and experiential learning to provide you with a fundamental understanding of the industry, while instilling qualities for you to be resourceful and enterprising in exploring effective solutions. It is delivered over three semesters and provides students with an opportunity to complete an experiential learning course as an elective.  Admission Requiremens: 1. Educational Background A good undergraduate degree in any discipline. Applicants in the process of earning a degree and are about to graduate are welcome to apply. 2. English Language Requirement Good TOEFL or IELTS scores if English is not the mother tongue or medium of prior undergraduate instruction. The TOEFL score must be at least 100 for the internet-based test. For IELTS, the overall band score must be at least 7.0. 3. Admission Interviews A strong performance in the interview (conducted for shortlisted candidates only). **Although GMAT/GRE is not mandatory, a good GMAT/GRE score will strengthen your application. Foundation Courses:
Aug - Nov | On Campus (12 units)
The first semester on campus provides you with the foundation for the programme:
• Accounting for Finance Professionals
• Financial Modelling
• Introduction to Finance
• Statistics and Analytics in Finance

Essential Market Tools (Certification Course)
You may choose to take this additional certification course during this semester. Some of the certifications that can be earned include:
• Bloomberg Market Concepts
• Forage Virtual Internships
• Refinitiv Product Certifications

Core Courses:
Jan - Apr | On Campus (16 units)
The second semester provides you with the essential knowledge and skills for a career in finance-related sectors:
• Applied Corporate Finance
• Foundation of Investments
• International Finance and Economics
• Options and Fixed Income

Experiential Learning:
May - Jul | Optional (2 - 4 units)
Through an applied project or industry internship, you will be able to engage in analysing and problem solving. These applied projects and internships will also enable you to acquire a variety of interpersonal and collaboration skills, particularly in understanding the impact of your actions on your colleagues and company.

Electives:
Aug - Nov | On Campus (16 - 20 units)
The final semester on campus provides you with opportunities to explore areas that attract you in greater depth. You will need to complete up to five elective courses. You may choose to specialise in one of these areas:

• Finance and Technology
• Investment Finance

Entry Requirements

You are not eligible to apply to this program because:

The minimum age is 18 and the maximum age is 35.

English fluency is required.
You need to be either:
- A native English speaker
- Studied a degree in English before
- Can demonstrate a high level of English
- Having an English certificate such as IELTS level 6 or TOEFL 95 and above is an advantage.

Minimum education level: Bachelor's.

Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
