Bachelor in Industrial Design

Industrial Design trains students to conceive, develop, and refine products that balance function, aesthetics, and usability, spanning consumer goods, furniture, electronics, and other manufactured items. Coursework typically includes design studios, sketching and drawing, materials and manufacturing processes, ergonomics, computer-aided design, and design history, alongside project-based work that takes concepts from initial idea through prototype. Students learn to research user needs, generate design solutions, and communicate ideas through drawings, models, and digital renderings. This bachelor's program runs for 4 years and is taught in English at Yeditepe University in İstanbul, Turkey, allowing students to build a design portfolio while working alongside an international cohort.
