Academy College

Academy College brings together aviation, business, and fast-track programs for students seeking career-focused education. Aviation offerings include Commercial Pilot associate and bachelor’s degrees, with flight training and on-campus instruction. Business programs cover areas such as administration, accounting, human resources, and project management. Fast-track certificates provide focused preparation for entry-level roles or career changes, with programs taking between five and 15 weeks. Credits from some fast-track programs may apply toward a future Academy College degree. Classes are designed around flexibility, with year-round enrollment and start dates in January, April, July, and October. Students may study on campus, online, or through hybrid formats, although aviation programs typically require campus attendance for hands-on training. Academy College lists a 10:1 student-to-instructor ratio and describes its faculty as industry-experienced professionals with strong industry ties. One-on-one support, career guidance, financial aid assistance, and military benefits are available. The campus is at 1600 West 82nd Street in Bloomington, near the Twin Cities. International applicants receive help with I-20 forms and visa requirements. The application requires a $40 fee, an online application, a high school diploma or GED with an official transcript, and previous college transcripts when applicable. Applicants can apply online without essays or test scores, and the admissions team helps students plan finances, evaluate transfer credits, and register for classes.
