Assumption University

Founded by the Augustinians of the Assumption, Assumption University is a Catholic university in Worcester, Massachusetts, in the heart of New England. For 120 years, Assumption students have pursued curiosity in the classroom and beyond, alongside a commitment to community and compassionate service. The university seeks to form graduates known for critical intelligence, thoughtful citizenship, and service to others.

Academic opportunities span undergraduate, graduate, and professional study. The university's schools and colleges include the Grenon School of Business, Froelich School of Nursing, D'Amour College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the School of Health Professions. Graduate options include applied behavior analysis, counseling, rehabilitation counseling, special education, organizational leadership, and several MBA programs. Students can also pursue dual degrees, some in as few as five years, as well as accelerated programs in nursing and other fields.

Assumption's educational model connects knowledge with self-discovery, career readiness, and practical experience. Students have access to academic support, faculty and staff mentorship, career development and internships, student wellness, recognized organizations, community service and immersion trips, residential life, and spiritual life. International students can use the International Student Success Center, participate in study-abroad opportunities, and consider the Rome campus. Campus life also includes NCAA athletics, with 26 teams and more than a third of students competing at that level.
