Cedar Crest College

Cedar Crest College brings a long-running academic tradition to a historic campus in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The college is primarily a women’s undergraduate institution, while its graduate programs are co-educational. Adult undergraduate programs welcome men and women who are returning to education or pursuing a new degree or certificate. The campus includes an arboretum, a gallery system, the Rodale Aquatic Center, and the Home of Unity and Belonging.

Academic study combines liberal arts foundations with research and hands-on opportunities. Programs span business, computer science, cybersecurity, data science, communication, creative writing, education, biological sciences, environmental conservation, exercise science, nutrition, occupational therapy, nursing, forensic science, criminal justice, the performing arts, and global studies. Nursing includes bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, practitioner, educator, administrator, forensic nursing, and nurse anesthesia pathways. Students can also pursue certificates, minors, cooperative agreements, and pre-professional concentrations.

Professional preparation is central to the Cedar Crest experience. The college has hosted a technology and talent summit bringing industry and academic leaders together, and its programs are designed to support career goals and continued relevance in work. Graduates have applied their training in settings ranging from healthcare to technology and the arts. International students should compare delivery formats carefully: programs may be on campus, online, hybrid, or low-residency. Graduate and adult options provide additional flexibility, while the traditional undergraduate experience is centered on campus.
