Clark College offers students several ways to begin a degree, prepare for a career, improve their skills, or transition into college-level study. Its four locations include the Main Campus in Vancouver, Columbia Tech Center, Clark College at WSU Vancouver, and the Advanced Manufacturing Center at Boschma Farms in Ridgefield. Students can also take part in campus events such as Penguin Welcome Days and connect with athletics, libraries, career services, and the Penguin Pantry.
Academic study covers advanced manufacturing and mechanical programs, business and entrepreneurship, creative and communication arts, health care and biosciences, public service, society and education, and science, technology, and engineering. Programs combine classroom learning with practical experience. Manufacturing students work in shop environments that simulate real-world settings. Science, technology, and engineering students may study microbes, design rockets, or troubleshoot computer networks. Health care and biosciences includes nursing and preparation for work in a range of health care settings.
Clark also provides Basic Education for Adults programs that can prepare students for college or higher-wage work in as little as one quarter. Career Services offers free activities and workshops for career development and job searches. Students currently enrolled can use the Penguin Pantry, which provides groceries and connects students with essential resources. For students considering a transfer, Clark offers associate degree pathways, while its programs also support direct entry into careers. International students should consider the college's multiple locations, practical program formats, and available student support when planning their studies.
