Five Towns College

Five Towns College has more than 50 years of experience in higher education and presents itself as Long Island’s Creative College. Its small, specialized learning environment is built around engagement, collaboration, practical education, and technological and academic support. The college is a private residential institution in Dix Hills, on Long Island, giving students a campus-based setting for study and daily life. Campus experiences include the Five Towns College Performing Arts Center, Sound Athletics, and a Pre-College Summer Program. These offerings give students ways to connect with performance, athletics, and creative work beyond their classes. A virtual 360 tour is also available for students who want to explore the campus before applying.

Academic study spans the creative, musical, visual, and performing arts, alongside business and liberal arts. Programs include audio recording technology, film and television, interactive media arts, mass communication, production design, theatre arts, music performance, and music teacher education. Court reporting is another degree pathway. Five Towns College awards Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees, allowing students to pursue different levels of study within the same institution. The program mix suits students who want to combine artistic training with media, technology, communication, or business interests. International students should consider the residential campus model, the college’s small-scale learning environment, and the range of degree options when planning their academic and campus experience.
