Gettysburg College

Connections beyond the classroom are part of the Gettysburg experience. The Gettysburg Network is active and global, giving students a broader community linked to the college. Gettysburg also provides opportunities to visit campus and connect in person or virtually, useful options for prospective students planning from outside the United States.

Academic exploration begins with a choice of majors, minors, and other programs organized around student interests. Every student has the opportunity to engage in research with guidance from faculty mentors. This emphasis on student-faculty research gives undergraduates a direct role in academic work and supports the college’s idea of a consequential education. The curriculum is presented as a way to connect individual interests with meaningful work.

Gettysburg College is located at 300 North Washington Street in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The campus places students in a setting where history and innovation intersect. College activities include exhibits, gallery talks, academic panels, athletics, and student events. Gettysburg’s connection with its surrounding community is also part of campus life, with events exploring the college and community’s shared history. International students can expect a Pennsylvania college setting, a global network, faculty-guided research opportunities, and a range of programs to investigate before applying.
