Gordon State College

Gordon State College brings together a main campus in Barnesville, Georgia, a second physical location in McDonough, and online classes. Its Barnesville campus includes two styles of housing, multiple dining options, and academic buildings with classrooms equipped with the latest technology. This gives students several ways to structure their studies and campus experience, depending on where and how they choose to take classes. The college's current enrollment is more than 3,100 students.

Academic choice spans more than 20 study options, with a 21:1 student-to-professor ratio. Gordon State also offers more than 100 ways to get involved, giving students opportunities to participate beyond their classes. The college's education centers on collaboration, support, encouragement, and opportunities for success. That approach extends across the student experience, from academic settings to the wider campus community.

For students coming from outside the United States, the main practical points are the choice of locations and delivery formats. Barnesville provides on-campus housing and dining, while McDonough adds a second place for in-person classes; online study offers another format. Gordon's admissions advisors are available to help applicants, and the college invites prospective students to attend an Open House or campus tour. Student and faculty spotlights describe a community where students feel valued and supported, with leadership that assists them through their studies.
