    Introduction

Methodist College brings together traditional students, transfer students, first-generation learners, working professionals, and people returning to education. Its Peoria campus includes laboratories, simulation centers, classrooms, a library, and residence halls. The college is located at 7600 N. Academic Drive in Peoria, Illinois, within the Greater Peoria healthcare and human services community.

Healthcare education is central to the college's academic offering. Faculty focus on clinical reasoning, culturally competent care, best practices, and lifelong learning. Nursing students can enter undergraduate and graduate pathways, while registered nurses can continue their education through the online RN-BSN program. The RN-BSN degree can be completed in as little as three semesters, with coursework designed to fit around employment. The Bachelor of Social Work prepares students for roles in healthcare systems, schools, community agencies, mental health and substance use programs, child and family services, nonprofits, and government agencies.

Students applying to an undergraduate program currently pay no application fee and create their application through the Elements student information system. Official transcripts from all high schools and colleges attended are required, and admissions decisions are made within 7 to 14 business days after all official documents are received. Applicants can meet with recruitment or financial aid staff and tour the facilities before enrollment. New students applying for Spring 2027 must apply by October 1, 2026.
